With Esper gone, Democrats concerned over what Trump will do with the military

Donald Trump's abrupt firing of Defense Secretary Mark Esper on Monday is sparking deep concern among Democrats in Congress, who warn that one of the few remaining checks on the commander in chief's national security whims is out of the picture.

Trump announced via tweet on Monday that he had “terminated” Mark Esper, ending months of speculation over the Defense secretary’s fate after the two clashed this summer over the proper use of troops in dealing with protests.

Within hours of the announcement, a host of congressional Democrats came forward to warn that Esper's removal could leave the U.S. vulnerable during the presidential transition, erode civilian leadership of the military and put the nation's top officers, led by Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Mark Milley, in an untenable position.

House Armed Services Chair Adam Smith (D-Wash.) said Trump's upending the Pentagon leadership will exacerbate the "unique threats" facing the U.S. during the presidential transition.

Both Miller (illegally put into the acting position - should have been the deputy SecDef) and Tata are hard core right-wing anti-Liberals with counter-terrorism backgrounds. I know Tata is an Oafkeeper, suspect Miller is also from his actions.
To both of them, Liberals are the terrorists, the 3-percenters and Proud Boys are the patriots.

They were put in place by Drumpf to bring out the military to control any protests to his imperial coup.

We've been talking about his coup every single day since Jan. 20 2017 esp. when he utters remarks about
"his army" of gun crazed nutz.

We worried about violence/ wide spread interference at the polls. He actually called for that. His army failed to materialize.
He's put Jared in charge of damn near everything and Jared has fucked it up every time, including the voting protests.

Trump has been melting down in every direction even before the election, and he and his gang members
are right to be seriously afraid of their future.
but have you seen/heard who is publicly supporting him now???

Not Putin.
Only talking heads and a few sycophants on Fox, including Jr., and Rudy and Lindsey.
A few failed politicians like Gingrich. the usual right wing publishers, like James O'Keefe pushing the
Murdoch owned NY Post false Biden stories, false voting stories.

Trump's so desperate he's shoved Tiffany in front of a microphone and had Melania stiffly and woodenly read a teleprompter blurb.
Then he gave everyone at his failed election party a case of Covid.

EVERYTHING he touches turns to shit and dies. Literally dies in some cases.

I'm putting my faith in Biden's decades of experience in Congress and the WH to successfully deal with trump.
