Meet Biden’s first pets-elect, two impawsibly cute German shepherds, Champ and Major, who are bringing fur and fun back to the White House after Trump’s dog-free administration.

The Bidens got Champ as a puppy back in 2008, and his name refers to Joe’s dad telling his son “Get up, champ” when he was down.
And Major has already made history by being the first shelter dog to enjoy life in the White House.

My little squirrel controller chases any that dare to come in the yard. If he catches them, he just stands over them. He is a humane guard dog.

However, all bets are off when it comes to rats; she's a remorseless killing machine. Pearl the Wonder Dog is really, really fast when rats are on her radar. Truth be told, she actually hears them first, begins stalking them in stealth mode, then BAM, the deed is done. She's a small rescue Border Collie/Heeler mix, but we've come to realize that there may be a little rat terrier in her past.

I don't think he's ever found a rat, but the moles are dead meat if he can dig them up. Of course the yard suffers after a mole hunt.

30. The nicest thing about Bush II was Barney and Spot...I think the older dog was named Spot.

Barney was a little rascal and I always watched the Barney cam...And Obama's dog was just lovely given to him by Ted Kennedy...I love animals.
