prevent Trump & the Repugs from stealing this election away from us. Actions by Trump, Barr and Pompeo are really disturbing and the toadie and mum Repugs worry me.

All along Trump and company were acting smug, arrogant and cocksure that they were going to be in power for another four years. Trump even went so far by saying they were going to win back the House.

If you want to see this country deteriorate into a severe mental demoralizing depression - it's letting Trump & the Repugs steal this election after all of us are now breathing a sigh of relief.

Biden - his transition team and the Dems better be ready to go into action to prevent this.

I'm trusting that they have a plan and have enlisted other parts of this government to work with them.

I know others here on DU are saying not to worry - but I won't get a goods nights sleep until after Jan 20, 2021 when Joe and Jill are sleeping safely in the WH.

They are not going to be able to steal the election, they are full of bluster.

Look at it realistically. Biden won several states and by large margins which put him over 270. It’s not like Gore v Bush in 2000 where there was one state (FL) and only 500 votes difference. A super close vote count like that can be stolen. There is no overwhelming mandate in that case so easier for those trying to steal it get away with it. And, even then the chaos and turmoil of 2000 was quite a bit. Now imagine trying to overturn 5 states, some of which we were won my several thousand votes, such as PA? To do something like that would literally destroy this country and the GOP knows that.

It won’t happen. Too much at stake for even the GOP, and they are nothing if not always looking out for themselves.

It’s all bluster to try and create a much turmoil and havoc for Biden. But the Biden team has it together. They already prepared for this.

3. Sorry - But I'm Just Looking Back Of What We've Been Thru...

over the last four years. Trump and the Repugs have broken many norms and exploited every loophole they could take advantage of while we just watched in real time and in disbelief that it won't happen.

If anyone thought that those Trumper protests at the election centers in Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania, etc. were bad - just try to steal this election from Biden, and watch how that turns out. Can you even IMAGINE the collective rage of a hundred million Americans who have been bullied, oppressed and demoralized for four years, and who felt absolute dancing-in-the-streets elation and tears-streaming emotional relief when their oppressor lost re-election, if the dumbasses have the gall to steal that victory from us? They had better not underestimate the collective power of millions of pissed-off, fed-up, righteous Americans. I know *I'll* be out in the streets if they try it.

5. I'd prefer they stay in Delaware for a week or two after inauguration.

The White House will need to be swept for bugs, cameras, hacks, thoroughly disinfected, and probably would be a good thing to check for land mines on the lawn since they're digging that up.

and what they MOST want to fuck up is a transition to a Biden administration . . . because, delusional as it may be, they've convinced themselves that they've won this election . . . and they will do everything possible -- legality be damned -- to overturn the election results . . . I don't think they can do it, and you don't think they can do it . . . but they sure as hell think they can do it, and that makes them truly dangerous . . . particularly since the Republican "leadershit" seems to be lining up behind them . . .

what worries me most is what's happening at the Defense Department . . . between the firings and the resignations, Trump can fill all the important positions with thoroughly unqualified loyalists . . . and who knows what kind of mess they can make in three months . . . I just pray that the military professionals in charge of the "football" and nukes in general have some kind of failsafe plan in place in case that asshole ever tries to access the nuclear codes . . . the thought keeps me awake at night . . .
