(4,723 posts)Between the commercial sector turning a holiday into a profit grab, and the religious nut jobs griping the whole season about their perceived war on Christmas, I've pretty well lost interest in the whole affair. I don't go to Starbucks, because if I wanted a burned cup of coffee, I'd just make my own pot at home and leave it on the burner for a couple of hours. So I don't have any idea what they are playing. I haven't heard a lot of Christmas music this year, I suppose because I hardly ever leave the house anymore. A little Christmas music certainly goes a long way.

(12,809 posts)Heard a pop Christmas tune over the Wal-Mart PA the other day, and of course their Christmas merch was out by Halloween, but the store wasn't itself decorated yet.
