(1,604 posts)It's the same reason that the GSA is obstructing access. I have to suspect that they're doing a scorched earth policy on any electronics at this point.
It raises my suspicion that Trump did not have any contingency plan in place in case he lost, and is now scrambling to find any excuse to delay things to make sure incriminating evidence isn't there. Fortunately, these are not the brightest of people - it IS possible to reconstruct hard drives that have been scrambled (he he he).

(15,325 posts)I find this Cover-up theory quite interesting.
Especially since the firings all came rapidly after Biden's win.
Same with all the delays they've thrown out to hold off Biden's transition, intel briefs, & funding.
Remember, Trump has always been the center ring of the circus where all eyes were gazing on his theatrics.
He was the distraction while the dirty deals were being made behind the curtain, out of view.
You'd think if Co. Vindeman knew about Nunes, Ellis, & Patel, then other eyes know it too.
I somehow don't see this cover-up ending well for them either.
Our global allies all have superior intel as well.
'5EYES' for instance.
The Five Eyes (FVEY) is an intelligence alliance comprising Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States.
These countries are parties to the multilateral UKUSA Agreement, a treaty for joint cooperation in signals intelligence.
This is straight up espionage style cover-up.
