Donald Trump: the gift (to COVID) that keeps on giving...

According to the CDC, total cases in the U.S. topped 10 million yesterday.

Strong, concerted action is needed now to keep the death toll, originally speculated as being between 100K and 240K, from topping 300K or even 400K.

And you just know that the soonest anything is going to get done to try to turn the tide is going to be...January 20, 2021.

And, even when that day occurs, you also just know that, whatever steps the incoming administration might take, a solid 30% or more of the country will make it their duty to disregard, if not resist with all their might, because it's "the first move by the Democrat fake President to take away OUR FREEEEEEEEEEEDUMB!!!" Because their Dear Leader had assured them it wasn't serious, and that's all they needed to know.

So, even out of office, Mad King Donald will continue to kill tens if not hundreds of thousands. And not just MAGAts, but the rest of us to whom they will wind up spreading the virus.

I wonder where Mad King Donald, when all is said and done, will fall on the list of greatest mass murders in history? Certainly, far below Hitler, Stalin, and Pol Pot -- but certainly up there with Idi Amin and maybe even those in the Sudanese government who perpetrated the genocide in Darfur.
