Voter fraud claim in Pennsylvania gets recanted

It's funny how stories change once a person is under oath.

"A postal worker whose allegations of ballot tampering are the basis of Republican calls for investigations has reportedly recanted his story.

Democrats on the House oversight committee said that Richard Hopkins – the worker who claimed in a signed affidavit that a supervisor at the US Postal Service (USPS) in Erie, Pennsylvania, instructed staff to tamper with ballots by backdating ones that arrived late – had recanted the allegations in an interview with investigators for the USPS inspector general.

Investigators told the committee that Hopkins “did not explain why he signed a false affidavit”, the committee wrote in a statement."

Whenever James O Keefe is involved in something there's usually some distorting of truth.

In this very video Hopkin's story is inconsistent. He claims he's overhearing a conversation, but then he puts himself in the conversation by asking the past tense question "what did they mess up on". Is he hearing a conversation or being told second hand of a conversation, as in hearsay?

It sounds like Hopkins was made aware that the interviewer was going to "grill" him, basically letting him know they were going to ask questions in a way as to try and mess him up to see if his story stayed the same. That's what a good interrogator does. They probe for inconsistent statements.

What does Hopkins mean when he tells O Keefe that Project Veritas had his back from the "get go"?

6. I think that refers to the gofundme.

Gofundme was up to about $130K when Gofundme froze it. If he recants, that all goes away and he may be subject to fraud charges.

Now that he's recanted his recantation, will he also recant the recantation of his recantation?
