They are asking HER, AOC, etc to tone it down so we have enough numbers to get her residents the help they need. She speaks for a very blue district, we lost some good people in LIBERAL NYC and the surrounding areas bec they were tied to defund the police/AOC/Medicare for All. The liberal NYC council is pissed, the NYS Assembly is pissed, Reps like Spanberger and Clyburn are pissed...thats an awfully diverse group of people who think the far left cost our side numbers...numbers we need to get some progress done...now we have more Rs in office, is that the goal? How does that help? The more Rs in office the more difficult to accomplish our goals and get everyone help. Reps cannot project their +30 blue district on the rest of our representatives and expect to win nationwide.

12. Asking women of color to "tone it down" is tone-policing.

It's racist. It conjures the stereotypical angry Black woman and/or the shrill, "hysterical" Latina. The woman is speaking truth about how US politics impact her community and the country. People of color are continually told how they should shut up, moderate their stances, placate the "middle" - which is overwhelmingly white. Telling AOC to "tone it down" is saying that Black lives don't matter, the very real fear and persecution felt by Black, Latino, Asian, American Indians, and mixed citizens is not real. It is VERY privileged and racist (on a systemic level) and sexist to dis what she has to say. She is the future of the party; the party would do well to listen to her counsel.

16. Who asked women of color to "tone it down"? If it did happen, was it because she is a WOC?

If Senator Blumenthal says something that someone doesn't agree with, and asks/tells him to "tone it down", does that mean a "Jewish man" is being told that? Is it because he's Jewish or because he said something that is disagreed with?

but it has everything to do with actually winning and getting stuff done...Black Lives Matter...but AOC and Tliab are not the future of the party...again AOC is not that popular outside of her very safe district, in fact she has the PRIVELEGE of trying to pass on her far left ideas without worry bec she is in such a safe seat while it dragged down the Dems nationwide. Unfort what is the result, less numbers are on our side and no progress is made. But hey its racist to want progress I guess...and this is why we lose. Biden will listen to everyone, everyones ideas will be brought to the table, the far left isnt going to get everything they want, let alone get it immediately, thats not how this works. This stuff already cost us seats making it alot harder to get anything accomplished.

8. No one told the voters of the inner city of Detroit, or any other city, to be quiet. Does she....

....have any specific examples? Who in the Democratic Party has told anyone to be quiet? I haven't seen it.

As for the "base", ALL Democrats are the "base". I am the "base", SHE is the "base", the OP is the "base".

This is something else some seem reluctant to explain or define, their concept of the "base". What does she consider the "base", and what differentiates them from the rest of us?

Finally, this is the woman who blatantly and proudly booed the name of Hillary Clinton at a Bernie Sanders event even after being advised by the moderator to NOT boo:
