I hope some patriots in the military are seeing what trump is doing.

He didn't fire Esper out of spite. He didn't fire those who clapped for Jim Anderson because he is a petulant baby. He didn't replace leadership positions in the pentagon because he was doing tit for tat.

He is quickly putting traitors who are blindly loyal to him more than to the country in leadership positions throughout the military. The men and women that now have new officers leading them are the ones Americans will count on to rebuff the boogaloo boys, Q crazies, and militia thugs when trump refuses to leave the White House. He already has the entirety of the republican elected congress.

He is coopting the military.

We can laugh at the big baby jokes and write cool tweets about him all we want. That won't stop him.

He is telegraphing the coup and we are laughing.

The tape of the call with Ukraine PM for example. Probably lots of calls with President Putin and other shady ass things that may've been intercepted by the military/intel apparatus.

But I do not rule out an ongoing coup attempt, not by any stretch ...

about what you'd expect from an infant who's been punished for something . . . that we have a "mentally pathological" egotist as Commander-in-Chief of our military is scary enough . . . that he's' removing the experienced professionals at the Pentagon and replacing them with Trump toadies is even worse . . . as is the realization that this poor excuse for a human being is in charge of our nuclear arsenal . . .

where are the adults in the Republican party? . . . are there any? . . .

instead to laughing about his coup? Don't count on the military
to perform for a divided citizenry.

That isn't their job.

It's ours.

that it wasn't their job to interfere in domestic political affairs. So what happens when "trump's army" circles the White House? Wouldn't routing them be "interfering in domestic affairs"?

Of course they could be called to disperse the thugs, but the orders would need to come from the Commander in Chief. Or at least from the very positions that trump has filled with this lackeys.

Of course the firings and replacements could be for lesser, though still illegal, reasons. But to ignore the possibility is just foolish.
