"He who rides a tiger dares not dismount". Before there was the Trump Train which just

derailed, there was the Trump Tiger.

Republicans who, during the 2016 campaign, correctly criticized him as the arrogant racist incompetent psychopathic man-baby that he is quickly swallowed every iota of self esteem they possessed as soon as he was placed in the White House by Putin. And, promised dramatic increases in their power and their bank accounts, they climbed onto the tiger.

They hung on as his documented lies exceeded 20,000.

They hung on as he continued to promise a border wall for which "Mexico will pay!"

They hung on when he called US soldiers "suckers" and "fools" and did NOTHING when informed that Russia was paying bounties for the killing of our soldiers in the Middle East.

Now that he has lost the November 3rd election and---against all decency, common sense and the actual vote counts---childishly refuses to concede his defeat, they still cling to the back of the snarling Trump Tiger. They have seen the handful of their fellows who abandoned the ride on the tiger get attacked and destroyed.

They fear not only for their own safety, but they are also terrified that if they lessen their fawning praise and unquestioning support, his retribution might so divide their party in Georgia that their two Senate seats from that state may be flipped in the January 5th run-off election.

One way or another, their ride is about to end.

If they never jumped on the ride in the first place, he'd still be a third rate carnival barker.

Isn't that ironic?
