A Farewell Tour?

Remember Trump's unending rallies *after* the election of 2016? His "victory lap?" What if he is convinced that one way to make his (loss) palatable is to stage "Farewell Until 2024" rallies? He would get the crowds and cheering, the opportunity to spread more lies and poison (and covid), and the big cheers will reassure him that he's loved.

I worry about this happening. I don't think he enjoyed any part of being president as much as he enjoyed the cheers of his crowds.
I'm concerned that the MAGATS will stay riled up and will create problems between now and the foreseeable future.

3. If a farewell tour will get him to move on -

let him.

His current status is extremely dangerous for a number of reasons - national security, inabilty of the Biden administration to prepare for transition, dragging out the uncertainty, etc.

If he needs a vicroy lap to get it out of his system, I can't imagine it will do much more damage than he has already done, as to COVID - and it might do some good on other fronts.
