I am STILL pissed off about this. The Republicans masterfully used this to kneecap two Democratic WOMEN . . . . Hillary Clinton and Susan Rice.

The real hell of it is the allegations have been proved FALSE. Neither woman did one damned thing wrong.

In my mind this is a score that NEEDS settling.

4. Root cause analysis...leads to Ryan and Cruz

The root cause of the Benghazi fiasco was the sequester brought on by Ryan and Cruz.

It led to budget cuts that forced the Embassy to use locals instead of Marines.
This led to the locals thinking that the Embassy would be an easy target, which it basically was.
It also meant that the defenders of the staff were not US Marines, sworn to protect American citizens or die trying, but rather the lowest bid security contract. I am certain that these were not men indoctrinated to die for our cause.

Cruz gambled that the sequester would make him and the Republicans more powerful. Instead, it led to these four deaths.

That Cruz, Ryan, etc all blame Hillary is the ultimate in hubris.

And died defending our embassy.

More than 4 Americans died.

7 Libyan guards died.
