'Never bet against me': Trump clings to reelection hopes days after defeat

President Donald Trump refused to acknowledge in a new interview that he had been beaten by President-elect Joe Biden, insisting that his campaign’s election-related legal challenges would reverse the race’s outcome and arguing Americans should “never bet against me.”

The unrealistic prediction from the president, published in the Friday edition of Washington Examiner correspondent Byron York’s newsletter, represented some of Trump’s first remarks to a member of the news media since Biden was declared the winner of the 2020 White House race last weekend.

In his interview with York, however, Trump argued he was still competitive in several key swing states where Biden had already emerged victorious, saying he was “going to win Wisconsin” — a state called for Biden last Wednesday where Trump is currently trailing by more than 20,000 votes.

In Arizona, which was also called for Biden as early as last Wednesday, the race will “be down to 8,000 votes,” Trump said, even though he is behind by more than 11,000 votes there. “If we can do an audit of the millions of votes, We’ll find 8,000 votes easy. If we can do an audit, we’ll be in good shape there,” he said.

If his company were public, people would have shorted the shares continuously.
People would have made a fortune betting against him.

I have to believe even most psychopaths would have backed away from this abyss by now. He isn't even giving himself an "out" or exit path, or hedging in the slightest.

Many serial killers, when presented with a certain amount of evidence, change "I didn't do it" into "I did it but I was crazy" or "my buddy killed those people but I tried to stop him!"

He's going to look even more foolish in the coming days than he looks right now.

I guarantee at least one of them would be a rare coin, worth at least a million dollars. If you guys are interested, I’m happy to share with you! Send me five bucks (for cost of paperwork) and I’ll cut you in.
