(16,616 posts)is the first question that popped into my mind too. I can't imagine a scenario where a Dem presidential candidate wins AZ without Maricopa County. That would leave Pima County to do some mighty heavy lifting. Because I damn sure know my county (Gila) didn't go for Clinton.

(11,008 posts)A lot of red counties went blue, probably because of Perot. Clinton didnt win The really red counties, but he won most everywhere else. And Dole barely won Maricopa.
