By Brad Reed

Right-wing megadonor Charles Koch is admitting that he has some regrets about the hyper-partisan atmosphere he helped foster with his help in creating the Tea Party movement last decade.
In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Koch reflects on the fact that the Tea Party was highly successful in electing Republicans, but a massive failure in achieving its aim of restraining the growth of the federal government.
It seems to me the tea party was largely unsuccessful long-term, given that were coming off a Republican administration with the largest government spending in history, he explained.
The Journal notes that Koch writes in a new book that he regrets contributing to the poisonous polarization that led to the election of Donald Trump in 2016.

If he could have thought beyond x therefore y, in a system as complex as a country, he could have anticipated the downside.
But, he couldn't.
If he hadn't been born rich, he'd be no more than an average Joe, perhaps not even that.

Ceasing the activity is another.
Making reparations is essential.
Mr. Koch, it's time to start writing checks.

Your role in destroying American democracy is going to have consequences. It MUST!
You're not going to be able to play that "sorry I fucking ruined America, but can't we all just get along" bullshit this time.
It's fucking over dipshit. You should be thankful if the worst that happens to asspickles like you is just financial ruin and prison.
