Blast from the Past

"Oh my God. This is terrible. This is the end of my Presidency. I'm fucked," Trump said.

Trump became "angry and lambasted" Sessions for recusing himself from the Russia investigation, according to Hunt's notes.
"How could you let this happen, Jeff?" Trump asked his attorney general.

Maybe it's just me ...... but I take pleasure in remembering how Trump viewed the potential end of his presidency when he was informed that Robert Mueller had been appointed. That should have resulted in his removal from office.

I'm glad he is on his way out now, and I hope that he again is aware that he is fucked.

1. Yes, I, too, have been haunted by those devastating words uttered by Trump -- a confessional.

Can’t wait to read the unredacted Mueller Report. Do y’all think Barr is fucked as well? Or will he be protected by the Supreme Court?

And I say this because if he'd had half the brains of any normally competent human, he would have performed more responsibly than he did.

I mean, he was his own worst enemy. He opened his mouth and garbage would come out, on any topic. He is so narcissistic that he cannot see beyond his own selfish needs, but in that act of mouth opening, he would demolish any semblance of good sense that we expect from our presidents.

I always enjoy your posts, my dear H20 Man.

4. He probably is aware, but he can only deal with it as a narcissist

In the myth, Narcissus didn't fall in love with himself; he fell in love with his faultless reflection.

that he knew he fucked up as soon as he did it. And he surely knows he fucked up royally. Again. Will he ever be held responsible for colluding with Russia? I rather doubt it. If they prosecute him it will be for other stuff. There's so much to choose from surely they can prove some of it.

I am mildly concerned (and very pissed off) about the intelligence briefings and the transition money being held up.

But seeing his voter fraud cases dry up one by one and his attorneys withdraw one by one has soothed my nerves a bit.

I don't have any hope that he will grow up and stop being a man baby. But fuck his feelings. The country is in the worst health crisis we've ever faced and he's crying because he lost his job. Hope he goes home and leaves the grownups to put the country back together.

Joe Biden was my favorite to beat 45 from the beginning. I really like him, I know he's competent, and I also knew that 45 was scared to death of him. He must have had polling data that predicted this outcome.

Lock him up!

I've been thinking of the perfect title for about about these last four years - I like "The Unmasking of the World's Greatest Con".
