Jared and Ivanka are poised to return to a Manhattan social scene that no longer welcomes them

If the celebrations that spilled into the streets of New York City in the wake of Joe Biden's victory made one thing clear, it's that the Trumps aren't welcome here. For the President, who changed his primary residency last year to Florida, that's perhaps no major loss, but for Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, the block parties celebrating the demise of the Trump administration may provide a glimpse of what awaits them once they exit the White House.

Now that their political lives in Washington are over -- the question for this once-golden power couple is what their time in the political spotlight has meant for their brand, particularly in their old Manhattan stomping grounds.

A glimpse of what likely awaits them was on display in Times Square last month where the anti-Trump Lincoln Project took out ad space on a pair of Times Square billboards showing their smiling faces alongside coronavirus death statistics and an illustration of body bags.

Two sources who have worked with the couple believe they may end up in Florida, specifically the Palm Beach area. Mar-a-Lago is not an option for their permanent residence, however, according to a source with knowledge of the family dynamics. Though Ivanka Trump has a private guest house there, Mar-a-Lago is the preferred home of the first lady and she and the President's daughter have a frosty relationship.

She fully expects to blithely waltz in to Manhattan as if nothing ever happened...other than now thinking she has some clout as a PAST WH "adviser". I hope the reception is chilly and TOTALLY humiliating.

All that "access journalism" doesn't come without a price. There will be "they tried to moderate Trump's actions but they just couldn't" articles. Maggie will work to rehabilitate their images and ease their transition back into NY society.

If they can get 5 minutes, much less 15, of virtual fame, they will leap at it.

Resulting in a whole tier of D grade tell-all books, again, hoping to cash in on someone else's fame/infamy.

Jarvanka will happily use those who will forgive them, while exploiting them. And that will be a two-way street. HOPEFULLY they will be doing it from a jail cell.

Kushner also has a lot of questions to answer about he death of Kashoggi

Ivanka clearly received trademarks in China in exchange for leniency to China from her father
Ivanka also OBLITERATED the hatch act by using her position in the white house to campaign for her father, and yeah, The Goya beans thing? That broke the law.
