The vast, vast, vast majority of moderates and just regular folks just trying to get by are on Facebook, Twitter etc. so if the nutcases are over on Parler preaching to the choir their poison stays away from most people and they can just circle jerk all over one another.

But I think the crazy is only going to ratchet up either way. At this point society just needs to do triage and quickly cut this poison out of the main media bloodstream. Dealing with whatever crazy thing that comes out of their isolation is essentially the same challenge as dealing with it while in the barrage of it like we're doing now, without the nerve racking burden of the barrage itself.
