NOT an overwhelming mandate? Checking NYT and WP this am and I see nothing but the usual bothsiderism BS. No ripping and chastisement of RUMPs criminal neglect of Covid19 - how without the wave JB will have to adjust his priorities.
The nightmare is almost over but the nations angst is going to take a long time to subside.

(16,385 posts)Trump lost both the popular vote and Electoral College by a large margin. The media needs to recognize this. I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that this is the biggest win in history for a challenger vs. an incumbent.

(17,757 posts)Same EC votes as Trump in 16, but instead of -3,000,000 votes, it is a + 5,000,000 votes. I would call that a 8 million advantage in a mandate claim.
