It's becoming clear as to why the orange felon won't leave office.

Deep down, he fears prosecution even if he won't admit it.

He knows what lies ahead if he is forced out of office.

Prosecute the snake.

If we as citizens care anything about rule of law.

LOCK HIM UP.

He loses all that money if he concedes and we all know that everything is only about him. Money means much more to him that America or democracy or freedom or anything else. He has no empathy and doesn't care what he destroys, as long as he profits from it, that's 100% AOK with him. R states are enabling this by refusing to certify the results, but what will they do when their little ploys don't work out?

The R's claim to care about democracy, but it's proven they don't. They're not even deluded (as I once suspected). They are blatantly anti-democratic. They care about maintaining the current social pecking order, at any cost. It's surreal.

Lawrence O’Donnell called it correctly. Even if he manages to pardon himself of Federal crimes he will be hounded mercilessly by civil, foreign and State courts to the point of total financial collapse. Any Federal violations will need to be separated in time from his pardon and he will not be able to invoke the 5th Amendment. Sure he should have been on the hot seat earlier he is there now for sure.

The criminal and civil suits we shall see about, but the finances are his immediate worry. We live in Palm Beach County and it was a big story 8 years ago when he sold a mansion to a Russian for twice its market value. Once he is out of office and the full view of his finances come under fire, his family organization will collapse. Think Trump golf courses and buildings closing or being sold for large losses, loans being called.

Its comical to think people feel he will be viable in 2024. Over the next 2-3 years his entire world will collapse. Guaranteed Melania and Baron will head for the hills.

Being prosecuted is one thing, having to pay huge fines,...and becoming bankrupt again, with no one to
bail him out could be another. Yes, he will have to sell all his assets yes, all his assets
but there is more: What about the divorce settlement?..What about legal fees?..Not just for himself, but
for his .."children"?..
...Maybe a "book", but who will buy that book which is full of more lies?..I don't think that Trump has a
"a clue" as to what is coming.. Speaking fees? Maybe, but will those cover the afore mentioned
expenses?
......... And what about the money he owes?????? that is coming due?

...........Yes, there is only one way to escape this....leaving the U.S.A. and going to where????

.........Well we all know...where, but will he do that?..

Keep the base fired up, pretend that the Georgia election is somehow linked to tRump holding on to the office (a complete fantasy, but these are MAGATS we are talking about), then as soon as those races are resolved they will be free to acknowledge Biden as president elect.

National security and pandemic be damned, Mitch and the gang are ONLY concerned about holding on to power.

Time to test the OLC memo that says sitting Presidents can not be indicted:
NY AG could quickly test that memo in the courts with a quick indictment just
on the paying off of women prior to the 2016 election- the crime that Cohen
is serving time and Trump is currently un indicted but clearly ordered the payment.
This would solve the validity of that OLC memo so it does not cause any issues in
the future.

It's stunning the blatant criminality and corruption coming out of this administration, and it seems to have accelerated in the last few weeks.

I can't imagine the new AG NOT going after people in this administration. Otherwise, this shit is normalized and most politicians will be tempted to do sketchy shit in the future if people aren't held accountable now.

Please, please tell me someone reliable you follow is saying Trump and his minions will be charged with crimes. SOON.
