They were definitely planning on stealing Florida. A quick employment ads search showed:

Virginia, Ohio, Florida and North Carolina. All the ads said the same thing. Some were through Craig's list, some were through employment agencies. I noticed this morning that a couple of the employment agency ads were no longer posted.

It would be interesting to see what happens if Dems show up for jobs.

When I was a poll watcher I met a husband-wife team of repig poll watchers. They were very nice, chatted with me all day, shared their repig-provided lunch with me, etc. (as opposed to the rest of the repig poll watchers, who were openly doing illegal things like switching ID with other repigs so that they could get a rest)

At the end of the day I found out the two were registered Democrats, and realized they had never challenged a single voter.

They got the job thru a cousin. It turned out repigs are so awash in money they pay their "volunteers", and these two were only there to collect easy dough.

I suspect repigs have tightened the requirements nowadays, although with the general level of total incompetence that repigs have, maybe not.

Orlando Ad quote:
http://orlando.craigslist.org/csr/3282769733.html

"Are you a passionate Republican looking to make an impact this election?

We are currently hiring multiple Voter Outreach Representatives in Florida (Daytona Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Gainesville, Hillsborough, Lakeland, Orlando, Palm Beach, Panama City, Pensacola, Pinellas, Tallahassee, Winter Park). Qualified applicants will be working in the public, often outdoors reaching out to the community to encourage and assist individuals to vote for a Republican candidate in November's election."

Similarly worded In Colorado:
http://pueblo.craigslist.org/lab/3293934367.html

And a differently worded ad in Nevada that describes the polling scam like we saw in the CO video:
http://regionalhelpwanted.com/Search/detail.cfm?SN=39&ID=74653346

Description:
We have a mid-day-swing shift surveying position available. It starts as soon as possible. It will be 20 hours a week to start, paying $11.00 an hour. If you do well, you can have more hours!

It is for a conservative organization whose goal is to get Mitt Romney elected, but you would also be signing up all parties (democratic, republican, independent, etc.) who are interested in voting.

The job requirements are that you go to designated locations such as supermarkets and public places and stand out front and approach the public as they come near to ask if they would like to participate in a short survey!

I found a lot of hits using google for the text within those two ads that link to jobs finding sites.

I linked this thread to Rachel Maddows blog to see if it would interest them

11. The thing I was searching recently, before today,
Wed Oct 3, 2012, 01:26 PM

was whether the registration fraud reports were lining up with where the GOP's firm was working.

Many know about the CO video and Florida (that has expanded to at least 13 counties so far)
Bay
Charlotte
Clay
Duval
Escambia
Lee
Miami-Dade
Okaloosa
Palm Beach
Pasco
Santa Rosa
Volusia
Walton

Pasco, Volusia and one other are more recent additions.

I also saw a report in VA that the address of the GOP voter registration company was bogus.

Here's what has turned up so far in other states:

Voter registration fraud allegation reported in Clark county, Nevada

Investigation into Trashed Voter Registrations, Nevada

GOP-Hired Company Also Suspected Of Faking Registrations In Mecklenburg, North Carolina
http://wfae.org/post/gop-hired-company-also-suspected-faking-registrations-mecklenburg

133 residents added to GOP rolls without their knowledge in Riverside County, California
http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-riverside-voters-20120930,0,7018210.story

I'm still looking but so far, it does appear to line up and the more you look, the more you get a sense that this was an organized effort in a number of states.

the office of Elijah Cummings, D-Md
http://peoplesworld.org/lawmaker-probes-florida-republican-voter-fraud/

Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., is spearheading the Capitol Hill investigation of Republican Party voter registration fraud, even as the GOP continues to gush slogans of "voter integrity," attempting to impose photo IDs and other measures to suppress the votes of African Americans, Latinos, seniors and youth.

Cummings, ranking member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, took the lead in the probe even as scandal engulfed the Republican Party of Florida, caught red-handed in voter registration fraud by its hired agent, Strategic Allied Consulting (SAC). The Florida GOP hastily terminated its contract with SAC.
