Luckily for us, The Biden team is already talking to the vaccine manufacturers. No doubt they are preparing a solid plan.

They’ve had plenty of time to get a comprehensive plan together. That’s why they don’t want to meet. There is nothing. I know Biden is going around the road blocks. He’s feeling the urgency of all the dying.

1) Trump just wants a win and vaccine is just something he can say without proof back in March.
2) Trump and republicans will say the market will get them distributed, but what it actually means is that if you can afford it, you will get it first. And his big dollar donors will like that. And the companies will make bank on it as well.
3) Everything Trump does is for PR purposes only. None of it is about getting actual things accomplished.

I think we already have a few mutation of COVID already. We don't know how effective the current vaccine is for different mutations.

Republicans like to say it's just like flu. If COVID is truly like flu, we need a yearly vaccine and it would make the demand that much higher.

Received an email couple days ago from CVS saying they had signed a contract with the government to be one of the distributors once a vaccine was chosen. Don't know what other pharmacies??? Sounded like they would administer it to the public like they do flu shots🤷

Of course!

Trump has a delusion that he speaks, and his team of flunkies enacts what he says; but he was too insecure/untrusting to fill out his team, so there is no one to execute any policy. Add to that, his preference for taking both sides of every issue, so why would the staff act. Lastly, when you take action, you will be scapegoated for his foolishness in the ensuing 48 hours.

I can't imagine why this didn't work out well.

And I believe Trump always intended to be a caretaker-president and conceal his inaction behind a big-mouth; and that he actually preferred doing nothing (He's not a leader, he's a grifter) which was his entire Covid plan.

When the government wants airplanes, they go to Boeing or Lockheed. They don't try to start manufacturing airplanes.
