8. There are several aggravating things about this

For me, the most aggravating is that the countermeasures are so CHEAP. It's not like you have to shell out thousands of dollars for a face mask, or that there's some special soap in short supply that costs a hundred dollars a bar for a three-day supply. Keeping your distance costs nothing.

But maybe that's the problem: Nobody's making a gazillion dollars off the countermeasures, so they can be very good or effective.
