1. No, he wants to start a war so that he

can point to Biden and scream Warmonger and his minions, including those in congress will scream with him.

3. Yes, exactly!!! Trump wants to create a F'en mess for Biden, then he can stand on

the sidelines and scream at Biden, as Trump potentially holds his asinine rallies for his hillbilly friends (as tagged by Howard Stern).

8. That's also why he's

messing with Social Security Disability too. Make people blame Biden when HIS changes show up.

I'm sure there are other metaphorical bombs that will go off the second Biden gets into office.

We always have a mess to clean up after they leave office.

14. Yup, just like that middle class tax cut that is about to expire.

The expiration was put in place by legislation passed by Republicans and signed by Trump. But, it will expire after Trump is gone, and unfortunately, most people don't understand how our government works, so they will blame Biden for it. We always clean up after them, and we always get the blame for those messes.

18. Yep, always that way!!! Too bad many voters can't seem to figure out what goes on

and they prefer GOP propaganda.

15. Yes I have no doubt he wants to leave Biden a huge mess and

at the same time he takes out some of his vengeance out on Iran, because they would not play ball with him.

17. Exactly. He's trying to position himself for a 2024 run.

Make no mistake, he and his Republican sycophants in Congress will do all in their power to undermine this administration in every way possible and spin their lies on networks like OAN and Fox. If he can succeed in starting a war with his new Pentagon appointees he will use his actions to fault the Biden administration.
Just because Biden will be in the Oval Office does not mean the battle for the soul of America ends at that time.

4. What is the "wars act"

And why/how would it let him stay in power?

Enacted in 1973 to keep Nixon in check

19. The War Powers Act

Is a limitation on the President. It in no way would allow him to remain in power.

22. Thank you. I was trying to figure that one out.

My non-legal reading of it didn't really seem to indicate he could stay in power.

28. Of course

But the revenge and retaliation runs strong with the orange anus.

He screwed the pooch when he walked away with the Iran nuclear deal Obama et al. helped broker. An agreement that was actually working, so in his demented mind, he wanted to show us how it should have been handled.

"Jaw, jaw is better than war, war." is for wussies, don't you know?

6. I think the easiest explanation is probably the most likely

If he walks away as things are, Biden could seek to rejoin the coalition agreement with Iran.

If he picks a fight with them, it makes it a great deal more complicated to unwind that particular decision.

7. What in the hell is the "wars act"?

There is no law that if a war starts that it would keep Trump in the White House.

If he starts a war with Iran, on Jan 20, Joe Biden becomes President and CinC. It becomes Biden's war.

If you are talking about the War Powers Act, it is there in an attempt to rope in the president's use of the military.

He's not allowed to "win", so he's flipping over the game board.

They want Biden governing out of a smoking crater and then they will run on....ONLY I CAN FIX IT.

He's trying to start a war with Iran to make an even bigger mess for Biden. He is a petty, vindictive fuck.

13. If so, it is a stupid plan.

The transfer of power would still take place. There is no available opportunity to remain in power once a new President is elected. The Constitution is quite clear on that point.

If Trump thinks otherwise, he will get an education on that subject very shortly.

20. Trump, is too stupid and delusional to ever benefit from an education. One professor

said something like he was the most stupid person he had ever tried to teach.

21. There is nothing that allows the President to serve beyond his term.

He is throwing a temper tantrum and causing damage. There is nothing that allows the President to serve beyond his term. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. No matter what someone other than Trump will be President on Jan 20th.

If as a hypothetical after Congress names Biden and Harris as Pres-elect and VP-elect they die in a plane accident Trump STILL wouldn't remain President. In that utterly unlikely scenario Pelosi would become President.

Don't let him mind fuck you. No matter what he will not be President on Jan 20th.

24. When Trump does something on an international scale that, at first blush,

doesn't seem to benefit him directly or personally, I start to wonder if he is repaying a favor to a foreign leader, or expecting a favor in return (i.e., the Syrian troop pullout, moving the embassy to Jerusalem).

25. I think he wants to start a war just to boost his ego. He has always wanted to be a "war

president” because he thinks it will make him look strong. Since he is feeling weak now, look for ways he will try to change that.
