Not that many years later, her very large, million dollar property went into foreclosure.

edited to add: it's only been in the last four-five years that this property and another equivalent were bought, restored, and purchased by new owners.

When I see a lot of the new activists, people who came on board after trump was elected, I think, "Where were you BEFORE?"

They came on board when it was almost too late. (I hope it is not too late). A lot of the newly enlightened, often self-styled progressives, want to run all over those of us who have been activists for years and tell us we don't know what we are doing.

In some ways, that is to be expected. Democrats are a large, unruly big tent.
