... According to a new Morning Consult/Politico poll, 60 percent of voters said they approve of Bidens handling of the transition, while 28 percent disapprove. Bidens transition handling is backed by 91 percent of Democrats and 53 percent of independents, but opposed by 59 percent of GOP voters.
Overall, 41 percent of voters strongly approve of Bidens transition handling, compared with 21 percent who strongly disapprove. The Nov. 13-16 survey of 1,992 registered voters has a margin of error of 2 percentage points ...

The Nov. 13-17 opinion poll showed that Trumps open defiance of Biden's victory in both the popular vote and Electoral College appears to be affecting the publics confidence in American democracy, especially among Republicans. Altogether, 73% of those polled agreed that Biden won the election while 5% thought Trump won. But when asked specifically whether Biden had "rightfully won," Republicans showed they were suspicious about how Biden's victory was obtained.
Fifty-two percent of Republicans said that Trump "rightfully won," while only 29% said that Biden had rightfully won. Asked why, Republicans were much more concerned than others that state vote counters had tipped the result toward Biden: 68% of Republicans said they were concerned that the election was "rigged," while only 16% of Democrats and one-third of independents were similarly worried ...

Forty-six percent of registered voters surveyed said Trump should concede right away, while another 32 percent said he should concede if he is unable to back up his claims of widespread fraud. Just 12 percent said the president should not concede no matter what, and 9 percent dont know or have no opinion, The Hill reported.
The results of the poll are sharply split along partisan lines, with 72 percent of Democrats saying Trump should concede right away compared to just 16 percent of Republicans.
