I just typed this in another thread;

I've said this before, but it is clear that Trumpy is the man all those Americans have been waiting for all their lives.

He says the things they want to hear a president say, he does the things they have been wanting a president to do and he ignores all the "norms" they don't give a shit about anyway.

They love him because he is the quintessential American; Loud, obnoxious, racist, mean, petty, selfish, greedy and as far as they know, rich.

The popularity of Trumpy is a testament to the media age, I think. It goes to show how utterly gullible so many humans are, to believe a deliberate lie perpetrated by a TV Show producer, and take it as irrefutable truth.


It's enough to make one question whether or not this country can survive.

70 Million American believe everything he says because they WANT to. Whether or not what he says is true has nothing to do with it.
