He needs to crawl from under his shell and open his eyes. The transition is supposed to be happening right now.
It is not "orderly". It is non-existent. McConnell is unconscious.

The fact that anyone needs to say « will have » instead of « are having » means that Moscow Mitch is lying through his teeth.

(5,929 posts)Part of the reason McConnell is so infuriating is that he is very good at what he does. He plays the political game very well, and knows when to gamble and when to play it safe.
He is saying we will have an orderly transition, this is a subtle refutation and undermining of Trump's efforts to steal the election.
He would never come out and directly condemn the delays or denounce Trump's tactics, he knows the Republican base far too well to do that. This is about the furthest he can go in support of Biden's win without becoming a target of the Right's tantrum.

(4,243 posts)to sniff out the shenanigans in Kentucky. It is nearly impossible to believe that time after time the majority votes for this shyster.
Kentucky rankings:
* Healthcare #44
* Education #38
* Economy #39
* Fiscal stability #45
Kentucky has a whole lot of room for improvement.

I wouldn't out it past this slimeball to have just left off that part of the sentence he was thinking.
