Some of the most important art of this century, at least in my opinion, are the second and third installments of the Dark Knight Trilogy. Unfortunately important works of art have strange associations in our society. The 1968 Beatles album that is commonly referred to as "the White Album" is perhaps the most famous example.

The group the FBI arrested for planning to violently overthrow the government of Michigan based their approach for putting the governor on trial comes straight from "The Dark Knight Rises" (2012). It is possible to trace their fantasy life back to the 1984 non-classic movie "Red Dawn," which provided the name "Wolverines," which the Michigan militia took on.
