"There are legal claims that are being challenged in court. Once those are adjudicated and the process plays out, I will accept the results of the election," Ducey added.

Ducey would not acknowledge President-elect Joe Biden as the winner in Arizona, but rather is holding out after several lawsuits were filed by the Trump campaign and Arizona GOP, some of which have already been dropped.

"Those challenges will play out in the court and then I will respect the results of the election," Ducey said.

All of these claims are be laughed out of court, even the Republican AG said there is no fraud. Note also that Ducey has strongly defended SoS Hobbs (Dem) who has received death threats etc.

13. Judge to decide whether to toss out Arizona GOP lawsuit

A Maricopa County Superior Court judge will rule Thursday morning on whether to toss out the .. attempt to force a new audit of Maricopa County ballots.

If Judge John Hannah opts to let the case proceed, the hearing schedule could derail county election officials' plans to certify election results by Friday.

If he dismisses the suit, officials could proceed as planned, and only one election-related challenge would remain in Arizona ...

The Arizona Attorney General's Office, led by Republican Mark Brnovich, has said ... The law "is silent on how the hand count audit should be conducted when voting centers are used" ... "Instead, the statute directs the Secretary of State to fill in that gap and establish additional hand count procedures with the approval of the Governor and Attorney General, which was done in 2019" ...

... Maricopa County Superior Court Judge John Hannah grilled attorney Jack Wilenchik during a hearing on whether to allow the party’s lawsuit to continue about why he should grant the extraordinary request the AZGOP is making — one that would likely cause the county to miss its Monday deadline for canvassing the vote — and whether there was any actual reason for a new audit. The audit the county already completed found no errors in vote counts.

What, Hannah asked Wilenchik, is the ultimate goal of the lawsuit? And how would a re-audit make any difference? ...

is a lawsuit filed by the Arizona Republican Party which doesn’t challenge the actual results of the election.

That lawsuit alleges Maricopa County erred in the process it used for a limited hand count of ballots after the election. State law requires counties to audit ballots from 2% of precincts, but the state’s election procedures manual, which has the force of law, allows counties that use vote centers instead of precincts to instead audit based on those polling places, where any voter can cast a ballot, regardless of where he or she lives.

Ducey personally approved the election procedures manual, which was drafted by the Secretary of State’s Office, last year ...
