At this point, Biden needs to go scorched earth on the republicans and crush trumpism. Investigations and indictments. I know he wants healing but we can’t heal unless we expose the infection and excise it. This has to happen. Politicians need to know in the future this won’t be tolerated.

Until he is sworn in. The GOP will try and set him up for failure - he needs to keep his cards secret for a bit yet.

Biden's priorties will be to help the kids who have been taken from their parents and to deal with the pandemic which is disproportionately hurting minority communities.

Biden needs appoint an attorney general that will deal with everything although what they can do might be limited because of pardons. But it should at least be exposed to the public .

But the problem still comes back to majority of white people supporting Trump.

My hope is that we are about to see four years of steady exposure of Trumpian crimes. Exposure by state courts, by congressional investigations, by the intelligence community, by investigative journalists, and, yes, by an independent DOJ.

By everyone BUT President Biden. Which is the way it needs to be. For Biden himself to go after Trump would be too... Trumpian.

13. The DOJ needs to stop all the corruption in our government

And restore justice in our country , especially criminal politicians, and criminal organizations , or democracy will be lost , and we become like putin has done in russia. Also if justice isn't restored the American people will lose faith the Democrats and the government can be trusted, and they will lose future elections from people not voting for them anymore. If Biden refuses doing this in any way , it will get much worse, and we will not have control of our government, criminals will. That's why we're in this situation now , too many politicians haven't been held fully accountable.

Seems Biden is playing the "we need to move on" card, to an extent.

However, there is still the SDNY. Biden has no say in those potential charges. In fact that may be his game plan, i.e. let them handle criminal charges, that way he can divorce himself from the situation, in the spirit of unity.

In his press conference on Thursday he bluntly said that Trumps obstruction is unconscionable and dangerous. I heard a snip on NPR.
