Can someone explain the playing field in the Senate?

With Grassley temporarily out, and Mark Kelly seated, if the Senate is no longer in Mitch's control, I'm guessing it's going to be a death march of no legislation until January 20th.

But I'm guessing that's not entirely true, because they're still pushing bad judges through the process.

Grassley being out doesn't matter. He still holds the seat.

Even if he passes, it would be 51-48 and we'd still have a Turtle-powered Senate.
