Giuliani: Y'all ever see My Cousin Vinny?

Rudy Giuliani was speaking during a press conference on November 19, when he chose to reenact a scene from the beloved 1992 film, My Cousin Vinny, which stars Joe Pesci as lawyer Vinny Gambini and Oscar-winner Marisa Tomei as Mona Lisa Vito.

Giuliani, speaking out as Donald Trump‘s personal lawyer, continues to fight to prove that there was voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election despite not having any evidence. On Thursday, he used a famous scene from the fictional comedy movie to prove an unsubstantiated claim about how ballots were being counted.

“Did you all watch My Cousin Vinny? You know the movie? It’s one of my favorites law movies because he comes from Brooklyn,” referring to Pesci’s role. When the nice lady who said she saw – and then he says to her – ‘How many fingers do I got up?’ and she says ‘Hh, three.’ Well, she was too far away to see there way only two.”

“These people were farther away than my cousin Vinny was from the witness,” Giuliani says. “They couldn’t see a thing.”

The former New York Mayor was speaking from the Republican National Committee headquarters in Washington D.C. while delivering his remarks on Thursday, however, due to safety precautions, many reporters chose not to attend. Yahoo News White House correspondent Hunter Walker tweeted, “this event is being held indoors and unmasked. I personally opted not to cover it.”

You can't prove anything with movie plots because they have to make sense but reality does not. Towlie Nov 2020 #6

?

Speaking of Vinny, I had a small part in the 1979 movie The Warriors. After the opening train ride and "I'll bet nobody's even gonna be there", the scene shifts to a crowd of waiting gang members where you'll hear a voice saying "Hey Vinny!" I don't remember who it was who yelled that, but he was talking to me. I played Vinny.

Thats exactly what I thought of when the numbskull argues a case in court yesterday completely ignorant of any of the legal vocabulary involved.

so if Rudy's arguing the poll watchers couldn't see the count because they couldn't see, then that's the very definition of a specious argument.

Wasn't his hand held ambiguously, without fingers being clearly up or down? If she said 2, he would say he had 3 fingers up, if she said two, he would have said 3.

The point of the scene was a scheming corrupt lawyer twisting testimony.

Kind of the same point with rudy, only he doesn't get much these days.
