I was watching Noel Casler last night in a very lengthy interview he gave with five other participants, and he reiterated that story about Trump crapping himself when under stress on set and elsewhere. During this particular interview he added that his accidents not only smelled to high heaven, but were voluminous in extreme. The crew used to call the show “the shit show“ for this reason.

So this morning as I’m driving to work, I suddenly realize that that is why Trump was referring to flushing the toilet 15 times. The way Casler describes it, he’s got huge amounts of material in there from eating McDonald’s food to excess, and when he goes he really goes. Apparently, doing Adderall and then Xanax causes sudden bowel relaxation which leads to large volume BM’s.

And now I understand the dilemma: low flush toilets don’t take it all the first few times and that’s why Trump is obsessed with plumbing fixtures.

Newer toilets have smaller flush volumes. Older rural homes built for higher volume flushes have shallower pitches to the plumbing. If you replace the toilet now you have a mismatch, and it can be annoying.

His whole schtick is grievance expression. The toilet doesn’t work like the one from 40 years ago, the lightbulbs cost more because the aren’t incandescents, the dishwasher is slower, o can’t use the cheap laundry detergent in my new washing machine.
