So he showed Fucker Carlson and Sean Hannity discussing last night how Obama sounds "different" in that tape while talking to black ministers. Of course they are discussing how "black" he sounds.

Martin came back from the tape and said "How about that...two white guys debating how black a black man's speech sounded to them."

It is noticeable that when Obama is speaking to a largely black audience he sounds "More black". Big deal. It's appropriate to alter some aspects of how you speak for some audiences. So long as you show a reasonable degree of sensitivity in how you do it.

If I, a white woman, on the other hand, were asked to address a largely black audience and I were to attempt to adopt what I thought to be a "black" accent, it would be hypocritical, rude, and inappropriate.

21. I watched Hannity and Carlson...

They were like rabid jackasses trying to out clown each other.

I listened to Obama's speech it it's entirety. I did not get what was so alarming, as Drudge was suggesting. That speech was such a non event.

Then, I turn on Hannity and his hair is on fire and he's reporting on the speech with the sense of urgency that someone might report a global alien invasion. I thought Hannity was going to blow a major artery.

These are not serious people. They are making fools of themselves.

I can't wait for all of these tapes of Hannity, Carlson and other right-wing frat-boy bullies--being drama queens over this non-issue tape. In the end, it will play in our favor.
