Why are Michigan canvassers partisan anyway?

1. With an entrenched two party system, bipartisan gentlemen's agreements are seen as fair solutions.

Norms, traditions, checks and balances. They keep the system going as long as both sides play by the rules. They can fail catastrophically otherwise.

That said, non-partisan reforms are catching on, especially involving redistricting.

2. each party has equal representation in ballot count and recanvass efforts and why when you call

out fraud, you also accusing the republican election people of being liars and cheaters as well. Obviously the majority of the GOP are clueless in how votes are counted and ballots examined
