Someone stole my Biden-Harris Sign directly from my front lawn.
My plan was to leave it up until tRump conceeded or Biden was sworn in, whichever came first. Apparently, it made someone angry enough that they had to take the time to sneak up to my lawn (apparently in the middle of the night as I checked yesterday evening and there until this morning) and steal my sign.
I live in a deep blue area of Michigan but clearly we have our share of haters. I am thinking of replacing it with a message added that if the sign is stolen, it will result in an additional donation of $25 to the Democratic Party.

A few signs remain around my town, for both sides. No one has bothered them.
I really dont get how a sign can cause such a reaction - stealing it doesnt change the mind of the person who displays it.
I cant imagine flipping a bird at a sign.

(102,105 posts)I'm not hurting ANYONE or ANYTHING. NOR WOULD I. Humans HAVE momentary thoughts that reflect discomfort, yet most would never act on them. Once the thought is processed they are discarded as inappropriate. SO what IS your problem?
I find those who do not reflect on nor examine their feelings--both "good" and "bad"-- as far more problematic.
