Trump lost. Joe Biden is our next President. We're just waiting for time to catch up to the facts.

Democracy will prevail. But Democracy isn't a cheap date. We've already paid a staggering price on every level and we have a long climb to return to the place from where we fell. But we will return and from there we'll move to an even better place than we were before. Because that's what Democracy does and that's how society evolves. And that is who we are.

We have an opportunity to become a more perfect union, to become more inclusive. We have another chance to become a more just society, a more caring people. We have another chance to embrace what is right and good and true of our better selves. It's who we are as Democrats. It's why we're here.
Hopefully we've become more savvy to the ways of those who want to see Democracy demolished. We're more alert to the methods used to divide, misinform and attempt to conquer. Congress has serious work ahead to see that this can never happen again. As do we all.

We must not return to "normal". We were living in a version of "normal" that allowed the last 4 years to happen.
We must strive for a new normal. One that we can all live with as we honor each other's pursuit of happiness. We'll move forward from that point and begin fresh on a path that will benefit America and the world for generations to come. Because we will it so.

What is going on is an attempted coup led by a sitting president. This is sedition on steroids and it must be stopped. There must be consequences for these actions

I've been calling this a bloodless coup since before the 2016 election. It's been painfully obvious. Also extremely frustrating because it's appeared that nothing was being done to stop it.

But it is a failed coup. And, as I stated, Congress must take measures to see this never happens again and we must do the same.

But sometimes there's a lag between what we're experiencing and what is truth. We're still experiencing tRump and Rudy G's Supreme Court Jester Sh!tshow but the truth is Joe Biden is our President elect. He'll be in office very soon.
We're watching this poorly written reality horror show meet its end. It's being played in painfully slow motion. But it will end and then we'll have the new beginning that we're looking for. And the satisfaction of seeing justice done.

And no mass protests or actions planned.

This leads me to hold out zero hope that anything will done about what has been happening here.

We'll all heave a sigh of relief, conclude the system is not broken after all, and go about our business.

Trump will still end up in trouble but it won't be for any of the bullshit he's tried to pull post-election.

My guess ... hope I'm wrong.

If we want it badly enough it will happen. It's a matter of deciding where we want to place our energy.
