(21,819 posts)And they need to get these Michigan GOP legislators to testify.
Right now they are denying that they discussed the election with Trump.
I'd like to see them testify to that under oath.

WHEREFORE, Plaintiffs pray that this Court:
(A) Declare that Defendants have engaged in conduct violating Section 11(b) of the Voting Rights Act;
Case 1:20-cv-03388 Document 1 Filed 11/20/20
(B) Enjoin Defendants, and anyone acting on behalf of Defendants or in concert with them, from continuing to exert pressure on state or local officials in Michigan, or in any other state, to disenfranchise Plaintiffs or other Black voters by not certifying the results of the November 2020 election, or by appointing an unlawful slate of electors that disenfranchises Plaintiffs or other Black voters or from taking other action in violation of Section 11(b) of the Voting Rights Act; and
(C) Grant such other relief as this Court may deem just and proper.
In other words, they want the court to tell tRump and his band of thieves to STFU.

sounds like a decent case to me.

(14,498 posts)said attempts have to be a physical action at a polling location. Can possibly be verbal or visual intimidation by phone, mail, internet or even a sign or billboard.
Very broad, as it should be.........

(9,771 posts)to give the appearance that something is wrong to those many, many Americans who don't pay that close attention to politics. We need to fight for real, but also in the arena of propaganda, where Rs are winning because we so often don't engage.
