I always believed that my country and its government were strong. I know better now. Both are fragile and democracy itself is even more fragile. Damn, damn and double damn. I'm learning this late in life. I hope the younger generations are listening and taking these lessons to heart. I will do what I can to support them and democracy itself as long as I can.

We need to establish a Federal Holiday that will honor the citizens who lost there lives to COVID-19. A holiday would keep reminding us what happens when the US Government does nothing and be a constant reminder for the voting public to remember the cause and effect of the Trump policy regarding the pandemic. I would propose the first Tues in November each year be designated as National COVID-19 Rememberence Day and it would be a paid holiday for all citizens. Vote.
