Hate to break it to you assholes, but the time for the remedy you seek ... is LONG PAST.

This will be laughed out of court just like the other 30+ bullshit cases team trump has filed.

It really is time for sanctions for these frivolous suits. HARSH sanctions.

I couldn't agree with you more, it really is time for sanctions, along with a review of law licenses.

Without repercussions to slow the tide of one frivolous lawsuit after another, this sort of nonsense will continue.

Didn't these same people enact these very same rules? So, they're suing against the very same rules they put in place.

For those as uniformed,

The doctrine of laches is based on the maxim that "equity aids the vigilant and not those who slumber on their rights." (Black's Law Dictionary). The outcome is that a legal right or claim will not be enforced or allowed if a long delay in asserting the right or claim has prejudiced the adverse party.

With all due respect to Black’s, it does not have to be a “long” delay. Laches is usually invoked when the claim falls within the statute of limitations, but the delay in filing prejudices the defending party. It can be invoked in both law and equity.

It faces some obvious challenges, not the least of which is why the plaintiffs waited more than a year - until after their preferred candidate lost the election - to bring the challenge.

Much like other cases that have been dismissed for waiting too long to file claims.
