since that fateful day in Dallas. I can still remember it being a warm day in western Pennsylvania, us kids being dismissed from school maybe an hour early, walking home from the bus stop just down at the corner, my mom opening the front door for me and the TV tuned into CBS. Mom saved her copy of LIFE magazine issue dedicated to JFK that I still have.
