(2,396 posts)I overspent on Mark Kelley (in honor of Gabby Giffords and a fu to Sarah Palin, I carry a grudge ) and Amy Mcgrath. And Biden/Harris. Err President and VP- Elect, that is
I only have about $100 available and I wonder when it would do the most good, now or the final push?
I've really been mulling this over and can't decide. It's the first year I've ever donated since I live in Oregon and generally don't have to worry too much.

Thoughts?

(34,069 posts)which targeted swing states during the election.
Their experience is they are happy to receive a hand-written postcard and more likely to vote. They have data from earlier elections that supports their theory.
I meet regularly with a GA resident who cheered my effors (as did several AZ DU members who hoped they would get one of my postcards).
I think the handwritten outweighs the out-of-state. But you can get a local postmark if you want by (1) sending the to a local resident to mail them for you. It's also pretty routine to mail at least individual items to the postmaster in a particular town and have them postmark them there. (Valentine, NE near wher I grew up - gets a lot of February requests for postmarks.) I don't know how they would respond to a bulk request.

This time you have to buy the postcards (for the presidental election they sent cards out free) - I paid $21 for 250 cards. Just select the number hubby can write, order the cards, and they'll send you the names and addresses of voters.

(60 posts)I posted this about a week ago in that group. But your reply reminded me to go into it and update the links with some of the new ones I've recently incorporated on this list. Thanks for the reminder, CottonBear, and let's go Warnock and Ossoff
