He could have had people mask up and social distance, saving hundreds of thousands of lives. Then the vaccine would have arrived, and our losses would have been much, much lower. Turns out that yes, thanks to science, the cavalry is arriving, but Trump and his Republicans already sacrificed the vulnerable. They underplayed the severity of the situation for the election.

If we had done things the way the Biden, the CDC, and all of the doctors said we should, we'd have far, far fewer deaths, a better economy, and the vaccine would be arriving ahead of schedule. Thanks to Trump, a lot of people were put beyond rescue by letting them die.
