It was a terrible day to be a 15 year older living in Kennedy country seeing our Homeboy hero murdered down south in cracker land. Like many others at home, have hated the word Dallas ever since.

(17,536 posts)Brings knots into my stomach. I was 11 years old when he was killed, and our family was glued to the TV for the next few days. We were watching live when Ruby struck. I have followed the stories of the assignation over the years, and will wonder until my dying day if Oswald was a lone wolf.
I am not into conspiracy theories, and the logical side of me says Oswald was just another nut with a gun, but there are so many odd incidents surrounding the murder as to keep me wondering. Perhaps, on my deathbed, as a bucket request, some government official who knows the truth, will whisper it in my ear and I can die satisfied. You all will see to that for me, won't you?

(15,537 posts)The entire country was in a state of shock and glued to their TV sets for four days. I remember even the weather was gloomy, damp and rainy that day. Rarely saw my father cry and that may have been the first time I did. My mother was crying when I got home from school. We were all let out early after the announcement came over the school's PA system.
