What Do They Want?

I'm an old man but just an infant in the arena of politics...and I won't get into that but in listening to or reading, some of the far, FAR radical right, conservative (?) rhetoric, like Levin or Beck, I honestly don't understand just what it is, they want in government.

I just accidentally tuned to a radio station last night that had Glenn Beck ranting on "preparation for what's to come" and I assume he was referring to a Biden administration. But he was saying we have to understand the Constitution and Bill of Rights, stand up for our "freedoms" etc. He even referred to voting out Trump as "running the Lone Ranger out of town", as if Trump had been protecting all our Constitutional rights...which is a bewildering premise to say the least.

I'm familiar with the Conservatives trying to brand Democrats as "socialists" but I think they misrepresent empathy and compassion as "socialism".

So, can someone tell me what a Glenn Beck or Mark R Levin government would look like?

1. Glenn Beck

Glenn Beck PROMISED thatcif Obama was elected we'd be paying for bread with wheelbarrows of pennies. He guaranteed it.

These types seek to instill fear into low information voters and people who tend towards xenophobia. Keeping them afraid prevents them from questioning everything, even as the rich increase their taxes, take away their rights, and remove safety nets, and create chaos. Keep them afraid, paranoid, and stupid and you can do anything to them.

3. It's about control and THEIR interpretation and codification of "freedoms" and "rule of law"

Which is meant to protect a shrinking minority and punish an emerging majority.

8. It is now and has always been about control

probably from the time the first man walked upright, through Rome, the medieval Church, the protestant revolution to slave holders and into the industrial revolution. Feels like even Zuckerburg is taking his swing at controlling the masses.

5. A fascist dictatorship

in which white males hold all the power, the rich are unfettered by the law, and evangelical Christianity enforced as the only licit religion.

6. In their perfect world, no Democrats would exist. When you break-down their shows,

that's their bottom line- eliminating our Democracy and our Democratic party. That's also the bottom line for their supporters. They do it all under the guise of protecting freedom, but freedom only for them... A lot of their supporters want us dead and all those shows feed that hunger. Big money in hate mongering.

7. That's easy. They want a White America, ruled by rich people, with the rest of us

slaves on the plantation, working for peanuts to barely sustain our miserable lives. They think they are entitled to lives of leisure while we continue to work to enrich them. You know, the Deep South shall rise again! Those wealthy White men DO NOT want people of color, women, LGBTQ people to have any rights what so ever, and will bring in any agenda to prevent the erosion of their power and authority.

9. It's good to realize that reality does not intrude on the thought processes of

Glenn Beck or Mark R Levin or tRUMP. They all visualize the type government that we
just voted out.
