A congressional committee, the same one as always, does, consulting the studies and recommendations of historians and landscape architectural experts gathered for that purpose, over a few years foreseeing the planned renovation. THEY chose and recommended.

And the Rose Garden, as a whole, even after a number of inevitable and necessary renovations over the centuries, still unmistakably protects and reveres the design of the original.

Plans for all renovations are on the web for review.

Sorry, but I've seen too much stuff like that lying around on unfinished construction sites for me to seriously consider it to be "art."

After four years of a White House bereft of art, music, culture, and intellectual life - this is what the Trumps bequeath to the people's house? It's hideous. Looks like a representation of something found floating in a toilet.

What I see is someone desperately trying to escape the grave .. or hell.

But then it isn't like I'm any sort of fan of modern sculpture. I've yet to see one that does much for me.

I'm hopeful that by the end of summer most of Trump's executives orders will be incinerated.

He doesn't have to be vindictive about it, just do 180's across the board.

Since Trump's main principle in office seems to have been undo whatever Obama put into place.

Not quite broken but definitely needs some mending and made whole again .. so appropriate for this family to leave this as they’ve tried to break up everything.
