Trump is already discussing---in private, of course--- how he intends to make big bucks giving paid speeches to big corporations and "business interests" after he is evicted on January 20th.
Corporations and "business interests" should know that hiring this sociopath to ramble and repeat and drone on and on about how great he is WILL have negative financial consequences. Remember: "Everything Trump touches dies!" Many of us have pledged to totally boycott any business associated with this brazen lining of the thug's pockets. I am one of them.
I so pledge.

(16,131 posts)It drives my family a little crazy. I research these companies and refuse to do business with them. I think of it as voting with my dollars.
I pledge with you Atticus. And I will call/write to these businesses to let them know why.

(61,033 posts)that their money is better spent on others on the speaker circuit. Why risk alienating more than half the voters when someone else doesn't come with such huge negatives.
trump can think he's going to be a huge demand all the wants but with his negatives and upcoming legal problems that are sure to be in the news, who needs to latch onto that if your corporation has products to sell?
I'm in.

(3,941 posts)I have also boycotted AARP since Ws second election in 2004 and they endorsed Junior again and the first thing after the election he announced they were look into cutting Social Security. He said he was going to do it during the run up to the election, he was a complete doofus during the first term, AARP thought that was just fine and I swore they would never get a penny from me.
My Mom needed that check, she didnt need that worry at that time of her life and if they are so clueless, I wrote them off. Done and no going back. Im in for any boycott for any companies that think this is over January 20th.
Just name the businesses
