https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/trump-lawyers-mix-up-michigan-and-minnesota-in-latest-court-filing-fail/ar-BB1bdvTY

An Atlanta lawyer working for the campaign, L Lin Wood, on Wednesday filed an expert analysis of suspiciously high turnout in Democrat-leaning areas of Michigan, according to The New York Times.

But some of the counties identified in the affidavit are in Minnesota: Monticello, Albertville, Lake Lillian, Houston, Brownsville, Runeberg, Wolf Lake, Height of Land, Detroit Lakes, Frazee and Kandiyohi.

The apparent mix-up was first discovered by conservative legal website Powerline, with litigator John H Hinderaker writing it was likely made due to the state's similar abbreviations of MI and MN.

they fired today) gave numbers from one swing state as if they were from Michigan or the campaign did. So naturally the district voter numbers and those who voted numbers did not match up. And it was presented to the court. Or something. Of course Trump is still crowing about it because merging the voting statistics of two different states as if they are one and finding a discrepancy is all he's got.

me. With Trump crowing about the conspiracy, your theory gives me pause. Maybe their fired her for other reasons. Maybe she gave up the 'mix up' while they wanted to crow about it.Maybe Maybe Maybe...

Maybe she is a true believer and that is getting in the way of the false narratives Rudy wants to spread.

He knows his cult well. They will believe every lie he says and even more so due to his constant repetition Of the lies. He also knows his cult will no longer care about the truth, no longer care about the law and ultimately no long care about democracy for that in of itself is their greatest hatred due to its ultimate power to remove him from his throne. That thrown being the penultimate thing which gives them a voice, gives them faux credibility and gives them power.

10. Trump's legal team humiliated after confusing Michigan with Minnesota in election fraud affidavit

You just cannot make this stuff up.

Donald Trump’s crack legal team Thursday filed a lawsuit alleging Michigan fraud that cited a list of seemingly irregular township voting percentages. Unfortunately, the data in a supporting affidavit might have more persuasive had it not come from two states away in Minnesota.

Yes, it appears “MI” for Michigan is easily confused by “MN” for Minnesota if the lawyers on your “elite strike force” legal team aren’t actually all that elite. In this case, the grievous error was flagged by none other than Powerline.com, a blog authored by some extremely conservative attorneys.,,,

“Evidently a researcher, either Mr. Ramsland or someone working for him, was working with a database and confused “MI” for Minnesota with “MI” for Michigan. (The postal code for Minnesota is MN, while Michigan is MI, so one can see how this might happen.) So the affidavit, which addresses “anomalies and red flags” in Michigan, is based largely, and mistakenly, on data from Minnesota.
