The Michigan Bureau of Elections Board met to certify the state’s election results, amid requests from the RNC and state Republicans to delay the certification. By state law, the election results must be certified by November 23.

The State Board of Canvassers' meeting is underway in Lansing.

Democratic member Julie Matuzak has moved to certify the Nov. 3 election results. GOP member Aaron Van Langevelde urges that they hear public comment first.

Matuzak says there's 780-800 people signed up to speak.
